Walk-In Contraceptive Services
Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the Cannon AFB Medical Group Women’s Health Clinic.
All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.
The clinic is open Wednesdays, 1:15 – 3:30 p.m.
Services Offered
- Birth control counseling, prescriptions, and insertions:
- Birth control pills and patches
- Contraceptive rings (NuvaRing)
- Depo-Provera injection
- IUD insertion and removal
- Nexplanon insertion and removal; if planning to replace the device, patient must schedule an appointment.
- Nexplanon removal with IUD insertion (must schedule an appointment)
- Condoms
- Spermicides
- Vasectomy preoperative evaluations
How it Works
The clinic serves TRICARE Prime beneficiaries and command-sponsored dependents 18 years and older; we will see patients ages 13-17 with guardian present.
Women’s Health Clinic: check-in window located in Family Health.
A pregnancy test is required if initiating or restarting birth control; it will be ordered during visit.
